Sign-in security
Two-factor is the first line. Turn it on for every owner and accountant, so a stolen password is not enough to walk in.
Sessions show who is signed in right now, and from where. A login you do not recognise is the moment to act, not the next morning.
API tokens are for the systems that talk to Taskity on your behalf — an accounting tool, a reporting script. Each one has a name and can be turned off the day it is no longer needed.
The audit trail
Now the part that settles arguments. The audit log records every important change: who made it, what they changed, and exactly when.
When a rate moves, or a card changes hands, or a status flips, this is the proof. It cannot be edited from the screen, which is the whole point of it.
Put together, these answer the question every client and every partner eventually asks: who changed that, and can you show me?
