Clients and the sales pipeline

An enquiry becomes a lead, a lead becomes a project — without retyping anything.

In this lesson

The client directory

Before there is a project, there is an enquiry. The CRM is where a phone call from a prospective client becomes a record, and a record becomes a job.

First, the directory. Every client the studio has served lives here — Korba Roasters, Arkan Medical Center, Mrs. Rania Lotfy — one row each, with the work tied to them.

The sales pipeline

Now the pipeline. This is the sales side: every deal the studio is chasing, laid out left to right from first contact to closed.

Five stages — New, Contacted, Proposal, Won, Lost. A deal sits in exactly one, and moves right as it gets warmer.

Each column adds up its deal value, so the whole pipeline is one number at a glance: how much work is potentially coming in.

Two of these are already won — the Korba café and the Sodic twin villas, both real jobs now.

From a won deal to a project

When a deal is won, it converts straight into a fit-out project. No retyping the client, the scope or the value — they come with it.

Logging a fresh enquiry

And a fresh enquiry? Log it once, with a contact and a value, and it lands at the top of the pipeline ready to work.

The habit that matters

The habit for the owner: every enquiry goes in here, even the long-shot ones. A deal not in the pipeline is a deal you will forget to follow up next month.
